hey there vape fans, welcome to another mtbaker vapor quick tip. i'm kyle chapman and today i'm going to be showing you a littlebit about do it yourself or diy with some flavoring. the first thing you're gonna needif you wanna do some diy is a bottle of mt baker vapor electronic cigarette flavoring.that's the pure flavoring, no pg/vg added, as well as some unflavored blend here, whichis the pg the vg and the nicotine all together for you, ready to go. so the first thing youwant to do is measure out the proportion of the flavoring that you're going to be usingin your empty 15ml bottle. so, the ideal ratio of flavoring to pg/vg in your liquid is between15% and 40% depending on how strong you like your flavor to be. now i personally like itkinda right there in the middle. i'm going
to do 20% today and i'm going to show youhow to blend them all together. so today in order to measure out the flavor, i'm goingto be showing you a really precise measurement. now in diy it's a lot of user preference,so you can do it kinda however you like, but for the purposes of this video i'm going tobe measuring using this really accurate syringe here so you can go ahead and actually seeabout how much flavoring you're actually going to want in there. the first thing i'm goingto do, is i'm going to crack the bottle open. then you have the cap on here, and the bestway to do that is just to twist from the top like that and then you've got the flavoringright here. so now, for a 15ml bottle of juice, 20% is about 3ml of flavoring. so, i'm goingto go ahead, put my syringe in here, draw
it up right to the 3ml mark. then go headand squeeze that air out just so that i have a really accurate amount here. i'm going togo ahead and pop the top off my empty 15ml bottle here. then just squeeze away. so this,right here, is about how much flavoring you're going to be looking at. i'm going to markit with a sharpie on the bottle here so you can actually have a really good representationof how much you're going to need. and, as with all diy processes, you're bound to geta little bit of juice, so make sure you keep a couple of paper towels on hand to make sureyou stay clean. alright, the next step is really easy. now that you have the flavoringin there, that's the hard part. the easy part is filling it with the rest of your juice.so this is your pg/vg blend. right now i've
got unflavored 6mg at our 50/50 blend. it'sa really nice way to go, gives you a nice vapor to flavor ratio without being too harshof a throat hit. now, you can use a syringe if you have one or anything like that, butit's super easy. just take the bottle tab here and squeeze it in. as with all flavoring,we do recommend some steep time for this if you're doing some diy. it's not entirely necessary,however it is going to give you the best experience if you do go ahead and do that. so, now i'mgoing to go ahead and drip this. i've got the igo 6 on here on my k101. i want to makesure and give this another little shake here to get everything nice and blended. then justadd a couple of drips here, get that cotton nice and juicy. cap on, and have a vape. mmmm,that's really good. i like that a lot. and
for a 30 ml bottle like we said you're goingto look at a ratio of between 15% and 40%, but for today i'm going to meet it right inthe middle and give it a nice 20% blend in here, because that's just perfect for me.so i'm gonna go ahead and take the syringe here and i'm going to measure out 5ml's becausethis one only goes up to 5. then squeeze that into the bottle, remember 6 ml of juice is20% of a 30 ml bottle. now i'll add the remaining 1 ml right in there. i'm going to go aheadand mark on this bottle as well with a little sharpie so that you can see exactly how muchflavoring you're going to be needing. right at this line, right here. alright, so then,the next part, super simple. just take your pg/vg blend, this is a 6mg blend at the 50/50.and we go ahead and just squeeze that into
the 30ml. you're going to want to go a littlebit easy when you're squeezing it in here because you don't want the bottle to vaporlock. when it vapor locks it's where the liquid gets caught up in the neck of the bottle andthen it will overflow over the sides and you have a big juicy mess on your hands. nobodywants that. so, i'm just going to drip down the neck of the bottle like that, fill itup right to the base. you can fill it up a little bit further if you'd like, howeveri recommend keeping it right, just below the actual lip of the bottle here, because whenyou do that it's the exact right ratio. when you go a little more than that you're actuallydiluting the concentration a little bit and you might not get the exact result you'relooking for. but then again, diy is less of
a science, more of an art. you're lookingto just kinda mix something together that's going to taste right for you. and that's thelong and short of it. it's pretty simple, straightforward to do. you got, like i said,just get your flavoring, get your pg/vg blend in there mix it up and toss it in a bottle.now this 30ml bottle of unflavored is obviously going to make two separate 15ml bottles proportionatelyin liquid. so, if you need a little more than that, we have all the way up to 8oz of unflavoredliquid on our site. you are more than welcome to get as much as you need to get started.alright guys, that was diy and one of our quick tips for ya. i'm kyle chapman. if youhave anything to say, please let us know in the comments below. or you could always visitus at mtbakervapor.com and talk to one of
